Nellie Rae Harris Earhart Surrounded by her husband and children, Nellie Rae Earhart passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 22, 2022, in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on March 10, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama to Clarence C. Harris and Nellie Tillman Harris. Nell is survived by her husband, Randall Earhart, her son Kendall Brock (Laurie), her daughters Lori Crowley (Lindsey) and Lisa Williams, and stepson Kirt Earhart (Shelly); grandchildren Kendall R. Brock (Michelle), Kristen Windle (Jeremy), Caitlin Scott (Joel), Chad Niblett, William Crowley (April), Elizabeth Irby (Ryan), Christian Crowley, Sarah Brock, Heather Crowley, Hannah Brock (Taylor), Noah Brock (Marina), Remy Bitton, Joshua Williams, Emily Crowley; and 9 great grandchildren. Nell is also survived by her sister-in-law Lennie Harris and her brother Harry Harris (Doris). She was preceded in death by her parents, her five sisters, one of her brothers, her stepson Michael Earhart, and her grandsons Jeremiah DiGiovanni and Daniel Niblett Jr. Nell dearly loved God and her family. Her faith never wavered as she taught her children to seek God in all things. She lived to serve her family. She created precious memories as she hosted the most amazing holiday events and family gatherings for her children and grandchildren. She brought her family together for beautiful times of laughter, togetherness, and joy while building precious bonds for a lifetime. Nell was also a loving elementary school teacher for 30 years. Locally, she taught at Elbert Elementary, Purcell Elementary, Kingsford Elementary, and R. Bruce Wagner Elementary School. Nell’s family will forever honor her legacy of love and faith. There will be a visitation Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel at 10AM, with an 11AM service to follow.
